I don’t really know who I think I’m kidding, I’ve leapt head first into brown! I mean it started innocently enough; one brown sweater worn over black or neutrals, a camel coat thrown over this and that. Now it would seem i’m fully embracing it, with the introduction of this H&M brown faux suede a line skirt. Kind of hitting the 70s trend on the head really. 70s come 10s that is.. The new campaign from H&M is just that, centred around the elegance of the 1970s travel scene (think safari, suedes and denims), they’re giving a fresh feel to the essential basics.
I have to say I find it an almost neutral progression after being such a neutrals advocate for so many years. This somehow now feels cooler and more present. No longer your grannies vintage finds!
