The feeling of Spring is in the air and this new editorial from Tank magazine is perfectly representing London’s mood right now. Our frayed denim culottes are perfect for those wanting to get their legs out for the first time this year, whilst our raw silk shirt and cotton skirt can be dressed up or down. Heading to New York and then LA next week so will be pulling a few of these looks out for sure.

I am excited to share what I have been working on for the past season which was unvieled during LFW. We took a different spin on the traditional concept of runway and shot a live look book – as part of an event hosted by our good freinds at The Beaumont Hotel. The ‘show’ itself was styled by uber stylist Sebastian Kaufmann who worked with photographer Yuvali Theis. Our go-to girl Aida Lastra modelled her fresh face agianst a back drop of incredibly beautiful Dinosaur Design homewares – bridging my personal obsession of lifestyle product. Converse were very gracious in their supply of all footwear – we are bringin ‘em back, don’t you know! – the collection was heavy on the texture, continuing in our ever evolving outerwear, denim and knitwear categories, whilst introducing plush shearling and alpaca wool.
I’m also excited to announce my favourite store in London is now carrying Charlie May SS15. Go to the LN-CC to see the full select.
While I wait for images of Saturdays presentation to come back, I just had to share with you these illustrations by Clym Evernden. Followed by the amazing moving GIF from Nordstrom’s blog. It was a really unique idea to stage a live lookbook shoot in the Beaumont hotel, guests arrived and could watch us shooting and prepping. Styled by Sebastian Kauffmann and shot by Yuvali Theis. Can’t wait to show you the new collection in full!
Spring/summer has finally dropped! Doing my best to upload the new collection whilst making the new one, but there are a few peices already on the site. Some very hubba-hubba white denim styles. Summer is just around the corner now! :)

As I’m cosying up for the weekend, recovering from our work Christmas party on Thursday night and generally hiding from the cold, I feel myself dreaming of this recent press from Creem mag. Take me to the Devon beaches wrapped in cosy knits! Check out the editorial; so much winter inspo, it’s unreal.

On Sunday I presented my SS15 presentation on Rathbone Place in London, as most of you saw via instagram I am sure :) Super happy with the way it turned out, can the interiors just be my living room already? I worked with interiors designers Palm to create foliage surrounding the daybed furniture and marble plinths. Adidas sponsored the footwear and we covered the slides with the matte rubberised leather from the collection, the illustrations on light blue neoprene are a collaboration with Clym Evernden. Now gearing up to head to Milan and Paris fashion weeks!
YES. The campaign is finally out, as well as the new collection being online - (knitwear and coats to follow next week). I am so excited, every season I am more and more happy with the brand and the exciting direction it’s taking. I loved the opportunity to work with two models for the first time; it creates a really great dynamic within the images I think. Gotta go as super busy with the new collection on the run up to fashion month just around the corner!
Make sure you sign up to the Charlie May newsletter the hear all about the newest items added to store every day :)
The insanely beautiful Vanessa of The Haute Pursuit wearing my new season mohair knit. So happy that this small styling piece has turned into a major collection must have – from the front page of the Telegraph magazine to my first piece shot by Tommy Ton on Style.com streetstyle. The delicate fabric is composed by tiny strands of intertwined cotton, looping together with mohair trapped in between, very beautiful, I think you’ll agree.
As the last of my spring/summer collection is disappearing into sale, I’m happy as the weather is finally good enough to permit me to wear it all here in London. A few pieces Ive been wearing to death is the cami dress (perfectly breezy), the raw v dress (raw silk always gets me) and the croc embossed raffia bomber (need I say more?). This feature comes from a meet up with Coldlilies to shoot my favourites from their site. You can find the online curation here. So many perfectly delicate pieces, when it’s too hot to wear anything else.

So insanely excited to have my AW14 mohair top featured on the cover of the Telegraph magazine a couple of weeks back. My first ever cover and hopefully not the last. Super happy as usually these covers are graced by celebrities and not chic minimal fashion stories, wahoo!
