I don’t think I’ve ever really visited Buckingham Palace before, in all the 8 years I’ve lived in London. It really is as majestic as it looks on The Crown (lol) with white marble and gold everywhere. A perfect walk on a spring day and mid week the tourists are at as much of a minimum as possible. It’s easy to forget that London can be grand also when you live in North East London!
Sorry if you’re getting bored of the black denim peacoat I’m always living in but it’s my favourite jacket ever! So easy to pair with anything. I am working on more jackets to come out soon so I’ll be mixing it up I promise. Heading back to Tokyo in a couple of weeks to prepare more denim for the unisex collection I’m doing. Actually for this double denim combo, I’m wearing white jeans by Arket which I felt paired perfectly with a chunky boot – another thing I’ve been living in all winter! They’re only Zara so unfortunately they’re already showing too many signs of wear but I’m pretty sure are a perfect Celine rip off. One thing I do buy a lot from the high street are white things. Especially when it comes to trousers, I love wide leg loose fitting, scuff on the pavement more often than not etc. So they really need to be able to be thrown in the washing machine. A white denim is new to me but I love the shape and looking forward to styling it in Asia / 30 degree heat! Rolled up with boots or more straight legged with trainers is great for the London weather, but with slides they’ll be beautiful in a tropical climate!
