Getting ready for the Charlie May SS16 LFW presentation last week, I managed to document some of my main go-to outfits, despite the fact that I was always on the move.
I have mostly been living in trainers throughout the day for maximum comfort, yet keep my Céline boots in the studio for any last minute changes into the evening. I love mixing a lighter and neutral colour palette (such as blush and cement) with darker pieces especially now as we transition into Autumn. Colour co-ordination, structure and the element of coziness are what I look for when getting dressed every morning. However, I always feel that the perfect outfit can never be completed without the perfect accessory, such as a great watch.
This fashion season, I’ve teamed up with Marc Jacobs watches (available on ASOS) pairing my favourite styles with my daily looks. With the array of options they have on offer, it was a incredibly hard to choose a favourite.
I have to say, these watches have managed to pull me away from my typical choice of androgynous accessories. These watches captures femininity and class, whilst steering away from being too garnished and decorated. As the week went on, I became increasingly attached to the metal rose gold and classic gold styles. Yet I can’t deny being head over heels for the taupe, more masculine piece – it goes effortlessly with my oatmeal rib, don’t you think? ;)
As you can see, I am in complete internal conflict when it comes to choosing my favourite.
Having the perfect watch is an absolute essential when wanting to bring elegance to an everyday look. This is why the Marc Jacobs watches appeal to me. Their simplicity oozes that sharp, clean and contemporary element I need in my wardrobe.
Make sure you follow me on my socials to see how I’ll be wearing the styles throughout London Fashion Week and Paris next week too.
