On our first evening out in Malta, dressed in this new heavy silk top from COS that I knew was totally impractical when buying, but it seemed like the perfect minimal evening piece. Equally so with this Bracher Emden laser clutch, bright white and just as pristine, I think it was made for this outfit, or any all white ensemble.

Stiletto, chunky, gargantuan – three of my favourite shoes this summer, as well as my favourite colours. Perfectly covering all bases. Now, if only I could get them in flat versions to wear to work all day.. Do you ever wish you had an office job just so you could wear whatever you wanted and didn’t have to think about the practicality of it all? Easy Lyfe. Another reason I’m so happy fashion has more recently taken flats into consideration, I hope that never ends.
Doing more venue recces today for the show, as we have until the end of this week to decide on a space. It is officially now a month until the start of London fashion week!
Wearing two of my favourite pieces in the world at the moment; this perfect silk shirt and leather wrap skirt. Is there anything better than leather and silk paired together? I don’t think so; it’s a must even. It’s difficult to tear yourself away from favourite wardrobe choices, but I’ve banned myself from wearing the perfectly white shirt to the studio as it will undoubtedly get covered in pencil/pen/table varnish.. c’est la vie!

Another post form the beautiful Ibiza; dressing up to go to the Blue Marlin on our final evening on the island. Michael and I found a beautiful secluded dirt track running alongside the venue and leading down to the beach. Cars were driving fast along the road in the distance, blowing dust into the background to give an even more mystical illusion.

So, from dreaming of palms to just palm trees being absolutely everywhere; this was from the first morning in Talamanca, Ibiza. If you go to Ibiza, you just have to visit these palm trees, our favourite spot on the island! Wearing a mesh Beth Richards bikini that I stalked on instagram for quite some time, and the perfect oversized Céline glasses tracked down HERE.
More to come from my short but sweet trip with Tia Maria; where I got to live out the tropical paradise fantasy – through the eyes of the lens anyway, and packing 10 bikinis to only 3 (all white) outfits. Thank you to Michael for being my desert island disc and taking hilarious of-the-moment photos and videos throughout the trip. YOU CAN’T SIT WITH US.

London is so beautiful right now, with blossom trees lining every street. I will never get tired of the hundreds of petals on my instagram every day, so thought it was about time I bring this spring feeling onto the web. Wearing the silk georgette shirt dress from my SS13 collection (available to buy here) and some new Zara jeans that will stay white, if I can help it.
Where would we be without all our accessories? I actually managed to pack light for once realising that just because my suitcase is large-ish doesn’t mean I have to fill it to bursting, especially when I always leave Devon with an assortment of delicious homemade jams and chutneys (super mum alert!).
So here are the accessories I can’t quite live without at the moment. The perfect assortment of shoe types and various coloured metals, meaning I only needed to bring a tshirt and trousers. WIN! Have a good weekend and if you want to see more from my Devon roaming, you can find me on instagram under girlalamode.
So you may have noticed my hair’s a little shorter, I’m gradually working my way up to Daria Werbowy crop for the summer, although I’m quite liking this awkward length too. I wanna be all hanging out by the pool in my furry Céline-stocks, constantly in a flash of Juergen Teller light.
I’m down in Devon for a few days appreciating the sun in the countryside, heading to beach over the weekend and generally saving those pennies until Antwerp next week! So happy Spring is finally here and legs can be out etc. Now all I need is a tan plz!
The only april fool this weekend was me going out practically in bare feet, it may be alright for bare legs but not quite sandals weather yet. I actually had a dream the other night that I was holidaying in the Caribbean, how desperate for sun can I be? Anyway, enough weather chat as that is all anyone talks about in London these days.
I’ve been living in this sweatshirt from Zara the last week, going through about 10 lint rollers a day due to Kobi shedding his winter coat all over the flat. It’s the perfect slouchy sporty vibe which has led me on the hunt for a pair of trousers with the same kind of aesthetic. I’m off to sadly put the sandals back in the cupboard. Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend!
One very snowy white day last week I headed into Varg to play dress up in some very summery clothes. Isn’t that just the fashion way, always living out alternative seasonal fantasies!
I absolutely adore Scandinavian brands and Varg happens to house all my favourites. From Dagmar to Won Hundred, you know that everything you pull from the rack will drape and style perfectly. I love the separates that you can layer and layer to your hearts content, and even when you do stumble upon a single floor length dress (such as the navy Stylein one above), it’s so perfect that you know you don’t need anything else at all.
Thank you to Rachel from Varg for the invite and to Tove for letting me rearrange all your furniture, I will happily be back soon!
