Feeling like a complete tomboy at the moment, but mixing denim and cashmere in various subtle colourways has become my favourite thing! In winter it’s hard to get out of the slump of piling on black (ever watch the commuters and feel like you’re the only one wearing colour?). But experimenting with colour blocking is easy when you start buying into various colour groups. For instance my love of all things green (see previous instas for details) falling into place perfectly with our new khaki denim landing soon online, and the moss colourway in our cashmere collab with Movers and Cashmere! What a perfect match. And then there’s this beautiful corduroy Weekday jacket that go perfectly with my sporty-spice Asics.
I’d always wanted a pair of Asics but never found a colour that was really nice, there’s always a glitter stripe or something that put me off the more monochrome black/white pairs. When I was in Taipei I happened upon as Asics store whilst waiting to meet a friend. When I saw these I fell completely in love with the baby blue beauties! I heard later on that they’re a rare menswear collaboration and it was crazy that I’d managed to find them in women’s size. LOVE.
I am loving the reintroduction of corduroy. Taking me back to noughties dressing, where I literally lived in a pair of baby pink flared chords with matching Kangol hat… LOL. Anyway enough reminiscing, I’m currently designing a lot of corduroy into my coming collection so watch out – no bucket hats, I promise!
I’ve pulled Loewe’s puzzle back into my full time rotation as it really is the best bag ever. I can even fit my Canon 5D in it, so it doubles up as a camera bag too! Plus the strap being adjustable, so it can fit cross body, is perfect for ease of wear when you don’t want it tucked under your pit…
