I’m so excited to finally share with you guys the full series of BLYtravels!
I have always loved Photography. I grew up with a fuji film in one hand and a disposable kodak in the other, taking weekly trips to Boots to get the film developed, documenting all kinds of teenage delinquency. And then later, moving on to a digital SLR and trying my hand at landscapes, nature and macros until eventually turning the camera on myself.
Even though I still shoot a lot, its not often I get to play photographer and stylist all in one. Especially not in an editorial sense. So, when my friend Andrew of Blyszak eyewear asked me to be a part of his international campaign BLYtravels, I leapt at the chance. One photographer from each city (London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo) was to shoot the new shape in their own style.
I represented London of course, and wanted to show the history through my cities architecture. We shot on the front steps of Saint Paul’s cathedral against the magnificent stone columns and wooden doors. Both Amanda and Brad are wearing full Charlie May with Blyszak eyewear in horn and metal styles. They both look so boss! I am obsessed with Amanda’s look of the cropped alpaca jacket and white ribbed merino tracksuit accompanied by Blyszak’s full white buffalo horn. Needless to say this was pretty much my look all winter. Brad wears the petrol cotton parka with Blyszak full dark horn and mirrored metal.
