Monthly Archives: June 2012

You may remember that certain lunch I had with the Varg team and Maria Nilsdotter a few months back, well the ring I ordered finally arrived! It was a difficult choice as I could easily have worn them all, but fell in love with this style after I borrowed it in gold over fashion week last February. I decided on a smaller size so I can wear it above the knuckle, I usually have chunkier rings on anyway, so now I can wear them all together! So happy to add this little guy to the family.

Look how clever I am with my google maps technology; about a century behind the rest but still, a nifty and clever way to share with you guys all my favourite places in Zurich! Without a doubt my favourite part of it being the temperature, nearing 30 degrees most days, heaven! Especially when you can cool off in the lake or Letten river after a day of checking out the sights. I was quite shocked at the brave Swiss, the river runs rapid but everyone jumps in and lets the current carry them downstream, until you get caught by a grate and scrabble your way out. Seriously impressive and not for the faint of heart.

The city is quite expensive so we didn’t eat out often besides, there were too many delicious things on the menu at the Inglis household – I got to try my very first Fondu and experience the christening of their new barbecue! Seriously amazing lazy days. I can’t wait to go back and explore some of the Alps next time. Thank you so much Jen for being an awesome host!

Super exciting news! Not Just A Label has launched a facebook competition where you can win the SS12 tie back top! All you have to do is comment on the post to be in with a chance of winning. Read the interview here too, (don’t ask about the sleeping comment – I don’t know either!)

Even more exciting news; if you live in London I am holding a private orders evening this Thursday at HPR headquarters, come along, grab a glass of bubbly and shop the collection for wholesale price! I’ll be there with Jen, so come along and have a drink with us and see the collection with your own eyes. I look forward to meeting you all!

Enjoying the views on my last day in Zurich! Doesn’t the view of the city look so beautiful? Planning a photo diary for my next post so I can share with you all my favourite hang outs. Unfortunately, I got totally sunburnt whilst swimming in the lake, (still suffering now) so the last day was spent covered up and hiding in shady areas. That will teach me to only bring factor 15! Back at home now and working on a special project in London, I can’t wait to show you all when it’s finished!

A few weeks ago I invited the Muse TV into my home to show them some of my favourite pieces from my wardrobe. Like my favourite Ann Demeulemeester dress that I would save from the burning building, and of course some Charlie May pieces!

I hope you enjoy and have a good weekend!

Thanks Simon, Darryl and team of Muse TV!

Hiding inside from the storm whilst it rains cats and dogs in Zurich, quite a contrast from the heat of yesterday, but hopefully clearing the skies for more sun tomorrow! Took these shots this morning whilst exploring the city, around Geroldstrasse; we went up the Freitag tower, explored the markets and lay in the park. The mood is so chilled here, nobody seems to have a job, as they just snooze in the sun all day! Pretty easy living. Follow me on Instagram/Twitter for more regular exploratory updates!

As I’m sat inside trying to get over my morning of sunbathing in 30 degrees Zurich, I thought I could show you guys my final Bengt X So hot right nail post, before Jen comes back and we head off to see the city! Definitely the craziest of all three styles, I’d always wanted to try 3D nails, although I have to say I don’t think I could handle them in every day life as they catch on everything! At least now I can tick the crazy Japanese inspired nails off my bucket list! Worn with Moxham, E.A Burns and Louise Amstrup all from BENGT!

Off to Zurich today to visit Jen, I’m super excited as I’ve never been to Switzerland before, lots to explore and lots of cheese and wine to quaff! She tells me it’s super hot (YES) so I’m bringing my new Calvin Klein bikini from Style Passport; so In love with the minimal style and mesh inserts. Also my new custom Tusting bag that I had made in wrong side suede, it bears the scars and marks of the animal which gives it this beautiful beaten up old style. I can’t wait to get there!

Check out my top 5 city holidays with Style Passport!

Thank you to the guys at No Cigar who put me in this crazy four full page spread interview feature! Seriously the coolest thing to happen to date. It’s their first time in print and is available to buy worldwide!

You can read the interview and flick through the mag here.

Wearing: Ann-Sofie Back coat, COS knit, Acne shorts, Nelly shoes

How kick ass are my new Nelly shoes? Nobody wants to get on the wrong side of me! Taken in Devon on one of my last days there, it was super windy and drizzly, a total opposite to when I arrived, but that’s what it’s like living on the coast! After getting these shoes I’ve definitely decided I need more sleek stilettos, I love the steel toes, somebody on facebook thought it was a DIY, which would be pretty awesome. There’s no real need for a DIY though when the shoes are such an amazing price anyway! You can find them here in all different colours.

Thanks for my bro for helping me out with the outfit shots!
