Autumn in London is simply my favourite time of year. When you’ve spent August retreating to Europe for some Vitamin C only to head back to London for a full two months of fashion week, with sales and meetings for the new collection; whilst being surrounded by orange and red leaves, bright sunshine and blue skies. My favourite! This season I’ve teamed up with Seiko, to show you how I keep time during my hectic schedule. I’ve been traveling a lot this year; I just got back fro Peru and am travelling in Japan this week. I shot this in the week running up before bolting once again; a snapshot into my average day as shot via this video. Even though I travel a lot throughout the year nothing compares to my city and the beauty that lies within. Especially the view of east London across Saint Paul’s as the sun’s setting!
Throughout my studio life my schedule is so tight that I have to make sure I am keeping time constantly. I always feel like I need to split myself in two, needing to be in meetings in town as well as being in the studio pattern cutting and toiling the new samples before they go to market – not to mention keeping up with content and projects for the blog. Even though the watch I’m wearing is Premier, I also love dressing it down for the daytime with some slouchy knits, then, when I run out for an event in the evening, I can just throw on some silk and a tailored coat and the watch fits in beautifully. Not to mention that it’s multi metal so I feel like any jewellery accompanies it perfectly. I love Seiko and I love my city!
Thank you Seiko for collaborating with me and my timely moments
