Wondering around the beautiful St Luke’s Gardens in South Kensington last weekend with Sandra. Waffle brunches, walks in the sunshine and shopping the sale at Joseph, might just be the best way to spend a Sunday..

Back in time. before the big chop; no my hair doesn’t grow at super speed. I’m in Devon for the weekend with family and found these I forgot all about. Wearing the black waxed leather jacket from my last collection, currently in production and hitting stores in a couple of weeks – woohoo! So excited for my own ecommerce site to launch around the same time meaning you’ll be able to buy directly from me! So many exciting things happening at the moment – thank you to all of you for joining me on this journey, and most of all for the support!

More eBay spoils from around the world, this time; a shoe that I never expected to fall for months ago, or even feature on this blog, but as we get ever deeper into summer I realised that I’m in need of more and more flat shoes.
Now I have a studio to cycle to every morning, I’ve been noticing how unpractical most clothing and footwear choices are – flashing half of Hackney with my asymmetric wrap skirt, or slipping off my pedal with my non grip sandals.. another reason I seriously fell for the Love Aesthetics x Black Blessed collab, with the short/skirt (SKORT), and transformer clutch/backpack designed in mind for cycling! So anyway, I’m not sure how much these flats will feature on the blog, as they are casual to-the-max but I thought they were worth photographing before I wear them to death peddling the roads of London!
Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away with the staples you can’t live without. Maybe my biggest misdemeanor is the white shirt; silk/cotton/linen, it’s the easiest thing to throw on and feel pretty good in. This white silk shirt from Joseph is the newest addition to the team, with the most beautiful details from every view, I’m pretty stoked tbh.

How awesome that sale comes around when there’s a mega heatwave in the UK – and most of the world it seems! I’ve been desperately looking to update my layer dependant wardrobe in the unbearable heat and with most of the good high street buys sold out online I’ve been turning to independent boutiques such as Bengt.
So I finally chopped all my hair off! I don’t know why it took me so long, I’d been considering it for months and the heatwave was the final straw; super happy with my new length! Maybe I’ll go even shorter next time.. Outfit worn to the RainbowWave press day on Thursday, where I got to see my own designs represented with Atelier-to-go, a new stockist of mine for AW13. How good does the red suit look? And the bags of course!
To celebrate the August bank holiday, SmartBuyGlasses (where I found these perfect Céline’s) are giving away a pair or Rayban Wayfarers and tickets to reading festival – to enter the competition just visit their blog and it will tell you the rest. Hope you all have a great weekend!

From blue and tropical to black and grainy, that’s the way I like it London. I’ve been crushing on this skirt for quite a while before bumping into it in the sale, it might just be the most perfect leather wrap skirt, ever. Easy to throw on with a simple tee or shirt; I’ve been cycling to the new studio, trying not to show everyone what I got, which must actually happen with every wrap skirt I own. Well, it’s still perfect in my eyes.

Going through my batch of Ibiza photos, I realised I still have so many I want to share. Being able to bring my own photographer along on the trip meant that the posts really could go on and on! Quite a lot for 3 days don’t ya think? Not only did I manage to pack an almost exclusively white suitcase but I also managed to get plenty of wear out of some some new swimwear favourites from Varley and Beth Richards. How I miss being so close to crystal blue open water now I’m back in London! Thank you to Michael for being my ideal travel buddy on the trip!

Masculine and tailored dressing has always been something I’ve swung to over feminine, floaty silhouettes, but pinstripe is a new addition to my need-to-try list. We’ve seen Acne graphic super stripe, Chloe resort barely there stripe (my favourite) and classic pinstripe, found everywhere from here to Zara. So the hunt is now on I think, for the perfect pinstripe suit, the one pictured from Stella McCartney might fit the bill for AW13, along with the loosest cotton shirt I can find.
Back in London and in the midst of packing, managed to break free for iced coffee and snacks to take in some of the epic heatwave that London has been experiencing. Funny that it doesn’t look remotely as hot as my previous sun filled posts, but London is a muggy heat and it’s definitely not as appropriate to walk around in a bikini here, fortunately.
More than clothes lately I seem to be collecting jewellery like a magpie; my latest obsession is Kirstie Maclaren. Featured on this blog years ago with her graduate collection, and now fully fledged and with her own beautiful jewellery label! Obsessed with these perfect gold pieces, feeling a bit of a cleopatra vibe wearing them all at once, which is no bad thing.
