Enjoying some of the last few days of the holidays. Despite the constant rain and flooding which left us exploring most of the coastline via car; every time I got 5 steps away the rain would start again and we would have to run back with our hats scarves blowing behind us! Sometimes I wonder why anyone would want to look at photos of the rainy Devon countryside when there are blogs out there showcasing much more exotic locations, but I do think England looks better when it’s moody.
See you in 2013!
I’m finally back from my mini impromptu blog break! It’s good to take an internet holiday sometimes, even when it’s not out of choice.. I’m staying with my family in North Devon over the holidays where the internet seems to rarely work. These are all images from my instagram over the last several days; ice skating, shoe shopping and walking Kobi in the countryside. Thank god for 3G!
I hope you’re all having an amazing Christmas! I finally managed to get some pictures done in between rain showers today so I’ll have a real post up tomorrow!
I’m now out of London and in the Westcountry for Christmas. The photos are from the farm buildings beside our home and I don’t know why but they’ve never featured on the blog before. It’s pretty rainy and wet outside today so the perfect time to explore!
The coat I’m wearing was picked up whilst I was supposed to be Christmas shopping for everybody but me, but I couldn’t resist as I’ve been looking for a new coat for a while and this one is boxy military perfection.
This week I’m featured on the Company Weekly Edit app for their 7 Days of Style feature, also as a kind of second parter to the magazine feature this month! I attempted to write down what I was wearing for each, but it was just too insane so if you have any questions, just leave a comment down below. When you download the app, it will mention the key pieces I’m wearing too. Some of the outfits you have seen here before, I think this is a good rundown of all my favourite pieces I’ve been wearing recently.
I’ve been wanting a petite shoulder bag for a long time now (I love the PS1 chain wallet but unfortunately it’s beyond my budget for now); so when I saw this Wang clutch I knew it would make the perfect transformation, being that it’s so beautiful already. All you need for the DIY is a chain and a pair of pliers. I bought the chain from London Trimmings as they have a huge selection, and the pliers you could find at any hardware store. It was so easy, as the bag already has zipper pulls at the side for the chain to attach onto. I love my new transformed clutch!
It was Vogue Online Fashion Week last week and Bengt asked me to contribute to their blog for the final day. Whilst SS13 is with me for production I thought it would be a great idea to show you how I would wear some of my favourite pieces from the collection (with special help from my furry friend of course)! Thank you Kobi for being such a good sport and posing when you’d probably rather have been chasing squirrels! All the items I’m wearing above will be available to buy on Bengt from February. Check out my second post with the inspiration for my upcoming AW13 collection HERE.
I had so much fun shooting with Company for their new issue, so exciting to be on the cover with so many friends and no, I didn’t realise they’d be publishing our handwriting; you can tell I’m on a sugar high from the big bowl of profiteroles they had sat by the table! I forgot my camera on the day, so I thought instead of posting a behind the scenes I could show you guys some photos that didn’t make the cut, but that I still love.
This was the outfit I wore to the Bengt pop up shop launch last Thursday, there were photos taken on the evening but Lexxi and I had had too many Martini Royales to be taking anything too seriously and as a result I have a memory card full of laugh-out-loud moments. I currently have my SS13 collection back in my arms to go to the factory and into production, (so exciting!) it’s nice to give it some wear too.
