In The Nude.

Wearing: Helmut Lang blouse, thrifted nude skirt worn over white lace petticoat, Ann D multi strap wedges

So, i’ve been living in London for a week now.
Absolutely. Love. It.
Having no internet is driving me crazy, serious blogging withdrawal.
I’ve started a new internship so I’m busy enough.
My blogs 2 Year Anniversary is on the 31st of this month and I’m organising a killer giveaway for you guys.
Keep checking back, I get internet on the 2nd.

I am moving to London in 4 days!
Super super excited.
Up until then I have a lot of packing to do so, these crappy blackberry pics of these beautiful shoes will have to do until then.

There is a really great Ann Demeulemeester interview up on the AnOther Mag Blog which is a must read.
My favourite quote:
“You can wear something from 10 years ago with something from today, and it will work, because the soul is the same.”

Oscar Wilde once declared, “One should either be a work of art or wear a work of art.”

Quick bio: Camilla Nickerson started her career at 18 in the offices of British Vogue. She went on to do editorials for The Face, Italian Vogue and Harpers & Queen. In the late 1980′s she became senior fashion editor at American Vogue for 13 years. She is now senior fashion editor at W. She has produced inspirational work with photographers Steven Meisel, Mario Sorrenti, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and Steven Klein.

Such insane talent from this woman. A true inspiration. I love all the quirkiness behind her styling, a true inspiration.
She has also styled Phoebe Philo’s last two Celine collections.

The Rip

Jeffrey Campbell VS Celine

So here we are again Jeffrey Campbell VS …
If you are as big a Celine fan as me then you will have been following Tommy Ton’s latest ‘Philophiles’ over at the Jak&Jil blog. Absolutely stunning images showcasing the sheer range of Philo’s incredible work. With this recent outbreak of Celine fever, everyone and anyone wants a piece of that look.
So, here we have it.
I have hunted high and low to find the Celine platforms online but have exhausted all options.
Jeffrey Campbell Shoes can be found over at Karmaloop
Stephanie from greytheblog has just bought a pair of the JC’s and they do look pretty damn good.
I’ll let you make up your minds.

Yesterday I was invited along to the Motel studio with Bristol bloggers Lara from I Wear Tights and Alexxsia from My Labirynth to check out Motel’s new Vintage range. The studio was in the heart of Bristol, right by the harbour. We ate lunch by the Arnolfini catching up and watching boats roll by, before getting our rags off and our Motel on!

Becka showing us around

With the studio set up we got to take our pick from the new Motel Vintage collection. My favourite piece had to be the zebra shorts, aren’t they adorable?
We noticed a definate safari trend going on so, in keeping we started blasting out Toto’s – Africa

I really loved the Jeffrey Campbell shoes they had in stock too.
After the studio shoot we headed to the harbour for some nautical fun in our matching stripey outfits. It was pretty windy but with the boats behind us, it was all part of the theme!

Totally was hoping to commandeer this boat

Lara’s such a cutie!

The clothes featured in the photoshoots were part of the new Motel Vintage range which you can buy from the Motel Rocks site. They have a clock that counts down on the Vintage, every day the items go down by £1 but the question is, can you hold out and risk someone else buying the unique one off piece?
