The new website is due to launch next week! (Can you feel the excitement!?) I wanted to share my favourite image from the shoot we did on Monday for the AW13 collection. I love it quite a lot; I just want to be her, pretty much for every photo we took, actually! The campaign was shot with Leticia Lamb from Elite, by Nicole Maria Winkler, Make Up by Thom Walker, and Hair by Alex James Fairbairn.
The Danielle Foster x Charlie May bags are now available to buy from us on Danielle’s site, be the first to get one before they hit all the stores!
I always love seeing backstage pictures at fashion shows, there’s so much buzz and excitement; so I was super happy this season that the backstage area was just as big as the front of house. You can also see much more texture of the clothes when they aren’t under harsher studio lighting. Don’t make me choose a favourite look as I still couldn’t tell you, but I am super happy with the ostrich leather pieces.
I wanted to throw in some Vine videos too, I was so happy scrolling through them all the day after the show, as being backstage (and downstairs) meant I didn’t get to watch any of it myself. You can follow me on Vine @charliemay, and you can stop the models endlessly twirling below by clicking once on the video.

I can finally share with you the AW13 collection! It feels like I’ve been having to keep it secret for months, and now the truth is out. I wanted to do something much bolder this season, using cardinal and graphite, amongst my favourites monochrome and oxblood; also playing with different textures such as ostrich and pony leather. I used my first ever knitwear piece too, a heavy white polo neck jumper that was hand knitted by Michael’s mum! So much love for that piece.
I was so happy with how the show went, everything ran perfectly and yesterday I got the best news that the collection is up on Vogue! Feeling over the moon right now. Thank you to everyone who came to the show or tuned in via the instagram live stream!
