So, from dreaming of palms to just palm trees being absolutely everywhere; this was from the first morning in Talamanca, Ibiza. If you go to Ibiza, you just have to visit these palm trees, our favourite spot on the island! Wearing a mesh Beth Richards bikini that I stalked on instagram for quite some time, and the perfect oversized Céline glasses tracked down HERE.
More to come from my short but sweet trip with Tia Maria; where I got to live out the tropical paradise fantasy – through the eyes of the lens anyway, and packing 10 bikinis to only 3 (all white) outfits. Thank you to Michael for being my desert island disc and taking hilarious of-the-moment photos and videos throughout the trip. YOU CAN’T SIT WITH US.

Slowly getting more and more sporty on my casual days off, or when I need to run around London in a hurry, like before I head to Ibiza tonight! I feel like I want to lock away the black for the trip although I suppose a little H&M mesh still counts as part of a healthy summer wardrobe. I’m still so in love with this bomber jacket and finding a million ways to wear it. When seeing the Stella version that I wanted for so long (now on sale!), I was surprised at how similar the fabrics were, and now I’ve seen that Claudia Ligari does one in black too. well, it’s only down hill from here!
I’ve decided to leave my laptop behind on this trip, so there won’t be another post up for a couple of days; just make sure you follow me on instagram for the Ibiza live, and in full technicolour!

My body is switching to holiday mode with the welcoming news of a last minute trip to Ibiza this week with Tia Maria. Ibiza may not have palm trees last time I checked, but if there was ever a mascot for sun, sea and relaxation; the palm tree would be it! There’s no need to wave me off just yet as I’m leaving on Tuesday, but if you see a sly, smug smile on my face, now you’ll know why. Sorry I’m not sorry!
Sticking to the uniform of psychiatric ward nurse, who through a blazer on to go to brunch yesterday; that about sums it up, in a nutshell. I picked this top up from the Sandro sale last week, feeling the need for simpler things to throw on when a shirt feels too much and I’m too slovenly to pull off a revealing mesh v neck. Hope you’re all having a good weekend!

Possibly my favourite GIF ever, but I would be biased on this one. Leandra from the Man Repeller wearing the Charlie May SS13 biker jacket and matching shorts, both available on Bengt.
I think everyone needs a great leather skirt. I have a penchant for asymmetric skirts in general (see here, here or here..), I think they’re so flattering and add a bit ore interest design wise than just a plain mini. This definitely isn’t a design I’m planning on leaving behind; I think it still has some evolution to go and I’m already thinking of how I can transform it again for SS14. Every collection needs a great leather skirt!
I finally got my birthday shoes in the post! – A birthday present to myself I might add; found on a dusty corner of eBay and shipped across the Atlantic. They’re taking a bit of wearing in. I managed to hobble out of Shini’s house to take these pictures (just kidding, but they are most definitely cab to curb heels only for now…). Worn with the white wool coat from my AW13 collection and other perfectly matching white things. Possibly my favourite outfit on here, ever.

Obsessed with textured whites right now, especially when dealing with negative space, such as the insanely good Sportmax lazer cut top pictured at the top, or the embroidered lace used with the Stella McCartney or Louis Vuitton pieces. Although not my personal style, I still love the bold yellow and black Louis Vuitton collection of SS13 (with a one of the more subtler skirts used here).
I expect you’ll see a lot of textured white appearing in my SS14 collection!
I haven’t bought anything from H&M in a long time, but when I saw this top floating around the internet, a top so similar to the Céline dresses from SS13, I knew the hunt was on. There were similar options from ASOS, I still get dreamy Haider Ackermann vibes from this one, but H&M won overall. Despite having to wait two weeks after purchasing on the internet (sort it out guys, it’s 2013!), at last it’s in my hands.
I love that Céline is having such a profound effect on the high street, we’re all buying Birkenstocks and chunky ID chains, wearing looser trousers and bold coats, just to try and emulate that androgynous silhouette. Now I just need that lace Haider collection to filter down…

One of my favourite pictures from when I was down in Devon, taken on instagram after a day on the beach – which clearly you can tell by my skin! I’d been looking for the perfect pair of white trousers for forever and I found these in Zara (similar here and here), so happy when the high street gets it right.
Speaking of high street, what do we think of the news that Isabel Marant will be the next in line for H&M collaboration? It seems logical to go for such an easy-to-wear, laid back brand after the avant garde aesthetics of Margiela last year. That being said, I think what made the Margiela collection genius as it was actual remakes of key archive pieces, and I’m still wearing my leather trews consistently.
Back to work after the holidays and busy with production for AW13, SO excited to get my e-commerce site up and running so you guys will have a lot more choice and see more what my brand is all about. In the meantime Bengt are having a 30% off pre sale so make sure you snatch up anything you’ve had your eye on before it goes! Just use the code FLASHSALE30 at the checkout.

Back in London now and still dreaming of the sunny beaches and rolling hills of North Devon. All week with nothing on the agenda except reading a book or applying some sun cream! We hiked up Heddon’s valley one day and must have walked a hundred miles through the woods trying to find the beach in the distance. There are way more pictures on my instagram from the trip as it’s not always nice to carry a huge camera around. I hope you enjoyed them!
