Celine by SHOWstudio

Catching up with the amazing Celine shoot that’s been going on, on SHOWstudio’s blog over the last couple of days. I can’t wait to see the final edit, it looks so beautiful. That background is beyond amazing, and Celine speaks for itself.

Aristocratic Tea Party

Beautiful tea party set in Abbots Leigh wood to celebrate my friend Loren turning 21. I think it must have been the most stunning party I had ever been to. Everyone brought cake and we drank tea and then later, wine. Loren had set up a marque of sorts right by the lake, with a cave directly below that he lit up with tea lights. Bats were flying in and out, whizzing past us all.
Most importantly was all the wonderful people I met there that night, not to mention one in particular who i’m sure I will come to blog about soon enough.

PRIMM MAGAZINE

PRIMM Winter 2010 issue
Recently discovered the beautiful PRIMM magazine.
With stunning editorials and interviews from Jeremey Scott, La Roux and Robert Geller, this is definitely worth a read.
You can preview the magazine online or buy from their online shop.

Givenchy Bandage

Revisiting how awesome the Givenchy S/S 2009 collection is. I need get hold of some of these bandage tops! I found the organza and jersey top from picture two on Yoox but its £300+. I know that’s good for Givenchy but unfortunately, still not within my budget!
And does everyone remember Vanessa Traina on Jak&Jil? Pure amazing!

Alex’s Style File

Alex waltzed into the studio today looking god damn amazing, her style today was so awesome I had to take pics.
Her jacket is from Mango and only £80! She also got those awesome vintage sock suspenders for her birthday. So cute!
I thought this jacket was more likely to be found in a vintage army surplus store than Mango! Not to mention how similar to the Burberry Prorsum A/W 2010 show.
Burberry VS Mango

I thought this jacket was really cute too, like a simple Yohji or something.
A bit off topic, but I also found these dip dye macs, I want the one on the left NOW.

Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to attend this season but I hope all of you go and buy lots of pretty things for me! xxx

Wandering Hands

Laura Mackness graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009. She has already made quite a name for herself with her bold use of colour and pop referencing prints. Now she has teemed up with Swedish label Weekday to produce a collection that sees her signature wandering hands and face prints transported into very wearable and down to earth pieces.

Love Abbey Lee

Unique

I cannot wait to get my hands on these shoes!
Topshop Unique was a much more mature experience this season. The way the outfits were styled together was more like Comme des Garcons than a retail brand that came from the high street. And some of the outfits I felt were pure Ann Demeulemeester. The range of jackets, trousers and shoes was just awesome, I hope that they are all available in store. (I hate how small the Unique section is in Topshop, it should be a whole floor, right?)

The Great Illusion

The Great Illusion
Vogue Italia March 2010
Shot by: Paolo Roversi
Styling by: Olivier Rizzo
Model: Lara Stone

A stunning editorial, really fresh and unlike anything i’ve really seen before. Combining child-like fantasy horror with high fashion couture. Stunningly dark, and Lara Stone nails it, as always.
