Last week I went to Ibiza with Tia Maria to soak up the sun and get a taste of island life. We stayed in the beautiful Talamanca and traveled around the island each day in our own open top jeep – Ibiza style! I’d been to neighbouring islands Menorca and Mallorca on family holidays long ago, so I was keen to see more of this party island with the big reputation. I have to say it was more chilled out than I thought as we didn’t really touch the big club scene at all.
The first night we went to the beautiful Blue Marlin, a private beach club with gourmet food and sun beds looking out onto the ocean. Trees grew up through through the wooden deck surrounding the bar and restaurant, making it feel like our own hidden getaway. During the days we hung out by the pool or at beach bars; eating delicious seafood and drinking fresh juice cocktails. My favourite beach was Benirrás, tucked away behind dense pine forest and cliffs, the little cove had crystal clear turquoise water! Our memorable trip ended along the seafront at The Savannah, with a Tia Maria, watching the sun setting over the Mediterranean. Perfect.
Thank you to the Tia Maria & Early Morning team for inviting me out!
