THE MID CALF SKIRT

Wearing: Joseph shirt, Zara skirt, Topshop Unique shoes, Mirlo V Necklace and ID Cuff, Maria Nilsdotter and Rachel Entwistle chains.

I’ve come to the conclusion that no awkward mid calf length skirt is flattering unless worn with some pretty high heels. When putting on any skirt of a similar length, at first I’d say it doesn’t suit me at all, but add some block powa’ heels (see previous example) and you’re good to go! I got quite an crazy response over these shoes on instagram, I’m sorry I didn’t post them sooner as they were on an insane mark down in the sale, and have now gone, all but one that is.

  6. In complete agreement, it looks so good with those heels! and yeah, those heels look SOOOO good, when I saw them on your instagram I was thinking “woah, these are topshop” and then I saw that they were topshop unique and was a little more convinced, they really suit you! xx

    1. I wanted them for ages but they were a bit expensive I think, so when they dropped into sale it was perfect! Topshop Unique in sale is awesome :)

  7. DAMN GURL. This outfit is stunning – I particularly like the detail of the lace peeking out from that beautiful silk shirt.

  8. The shoes, the lacey bra peeking out, the mood – everything is perfect, love this post!
