LIFE’S A BEACH

Wearing: PUMA hat, Yohji Yamamoto trench, Alexander Wang tank, Jil Sander trousers

Last Saturday I headed to the Roundhouse in Camden, for their Pop-up beach with some friends. It was insanely hot (I soon ditched the black trench), so we grabbed a jug of Pimms and some deckchairs and lay out to sizzle. It as pretty surreal being surrounded by sun and sand, with London’s city scape just about visible over the pastel crates, and yet still very relaxing.

The beach is open for August so head down there when you have a few free hours. There’s quite a family vibe in the morning but as soon as the 2 for 1 cocktails start, people soon crawl out of the woodwork.

Thank you to Matthew for the shots of moi

  1. This post is awesome. Looks like you guys had the perfect weather for it! xx

  2. seriously loving the title, and your cap too, but my most favourite piece of all has got to be your Yohji trench. The best part is of you wearing it on the beach, so cool!

  3. Agg I’m seriously in love with this post, scrolling up and down and crying that I missed your text! (so sorry about that, been having some network issues lately I think :S) The photos are amazing, really captures a summer feel, makes it difficult to believe that this is in Camden! Also love the pastel-coloured containers, you should do a pastel door/bg compilation! x

  4. Nice cap!! Wish my life were like this right now… Taking the train back to Glasgow tomorrow, *sob*

  5. A beach in London? Wow! Even if it is just a pop-up beach :) Great photos! xx

  7. Wait what, so there’s no sea? That’s so strange! What a cool concept.
The forth pic is freaky. Those two people standing a little too high and a little too close to the edge.
Great pictures, I feel the sun on my back just looking at them (and it’s winter here!)

  10. That trench is seriously one of the best, even though you had to take it off. And that’s such a cool idea to have a pop-up beach! At least it’s better than nothing. Thanks for sharing!
