GIVENCHY HAUTE COUTURE S/S 11

Givenchy Haute Couture S/S 2011
This season Riccardo Tisci transports us to a world of robot toys and Butoh; Japan. Inspired by the romantic and melancholic Japanese performance artist Kazuo Ohno the couture collection is the colour of dried flowers. The hats inspired by robot toys were designed by Philip Treacy

  11. I have seen someone else post about this collection. I really like it; quite oriental but abstract. It mirrors oriental archetecture, but if it did that more buy constructing a ‘oriental style’ wooden colourful dress frame that would be really cool. The other person who posted said they didn’t like the head pieces, and i cansee their point but it kinda adds to the look. I wouldn’t wear it out though, after saying all that!

    Thanks for the lovely comment
