WINTER DATE

Wearing: Charlie May coat, Stella McCartney knit, Dagmar trousers,  Marni sandals, Louis Vuitton cross body, Knobbly studio earring, Jessie Harris ring.

Trust me to see a pair of spring/summer Marni sandals in the dead of winter, with snow still on the ground, and think Yup! I don’t see why though it’s acceptable to wear sandals on a fancy winter date and not a pair chic flat sandals. I’ve been collaborating with Amex style hub this month, with the launch of London Collections: Mens in January and now, just out is this ‘How to dress up on a winter date’. My way anyway ;)

  1. Looks great! But how does it feel to have bare feet and a warm coat with a turtleneck sweater on? I’ve always been wondering about this phenomenon: all fashion bloggers seem to have bare ankles in winter while being properly bundled up on top. I tried it a few times – it felt very uncomfortable. And you even took it up a notch. :) So now I just have to ask: how do you pull it off? Don’t your feet get cold? :)

    1. Honestly I guess I just don’t feel the cold on my feet. As long as I’m warm on top, wrapped up in a scarf or chunky knit, I don’t feel the cold. I don’t think it’s blogger specific but maybe more to do with the fact that bloggers throw on shoes for one outfit shoot and then get the socks on :P

  2. Loving this look! The coat is so gorgeous!
