‘A collusion on Angles’

Recently discovered through the wonderful fashion156 blog, Janneke Verhoeven’s ArtEZ graduate BA collection used geometric forms of a tangram puzzle for silhouette inspiration, with fluid lines being interrupted by harsh angles creating unexpected shapes with renewed elegance. I really like that you can clearly see the origin of the collection from the lookbook imagery; There is a tranquil coherence to her work that I wish I had a little bit more of with my own.
The incredible shoes are a collaboration with Miriam van Weeghel.
